Retelling Harrison Burgeron

In this world everyone is equal, but equal as in strength, beauty, intelligence, and being athletic. This happens when the government has people wear handicaps. Everyone went along with the government except Harris Bergeron , but he paid the ultimate price; Death. The saddest part of this was that his parents are too dumb to remember that he is dead.

The Niece

Although Scrooge doesn't know love as well as money, he does know beauty when he has seen it. On page 73 in The Christmas Carol, Scrooge sees his niece in-law for the first time and realizes that she is more beautiful than he had expected. He is stunned and mesmerized with her beauty. In the book Scrooge thinks,"With a dimpled, surprised-looking, capital face; a ripe little mouth, that seemed made to be kissed—as no doubt it was; all kinds of good little dots about her chin, that melted into one another when she laughed; and the sunniest pair of eyes you ever saw in any little creature’s head." This explained how pretty her features of her face were pristine. This struck a feeling in Scrooge that maybe love is not terrible and he had realized that his nephew was smarter than he thought.
