Justin Bieber

Yuck! This is what we have to write about this guy? I hoped we could've write something that isn't so tone deaf. My group and I would've had a much better time writing about Smarties or music than this person. Most people would agree with me on this one besides the crazed fans. I wonder what the fans would say? He's amazing and awesome but in realty he is not!

Ironic Summer Day

What would you think you would look like on Venus? You would be very frail, washed out, a photo from an album. That’s how Ray Bradbury pictured Margot, an elementary student, in “All Summer in a Day”. Venus always rains and no light appears in the day and it’s about 9000° Fahrenheit, but one day every several years there is a day with two hours of light. While that was going on and her classmates were outside, Margot was in the storage closet. This was an irony because of all the events that happened to Margot in this story had to do with irony.

One of the most important thing that help analyzing a story is the plotline .The first thing that happened to Margot is she didn’t have any friends in her school. She usually stands and stares at the other kids having fun. Then she speaks up about the sun coming, but a boy named William didn’t want to believe her so they locked her in the storage closet. On the irony plotline the first thing that happens is world in chaos. She is grasping for sanity, in the closet, while her class is outside having the best day of their lives. When the sun was gone they let her out of the closet and her class had felt sorry for what they had done. Margot had lost her sanity at that point.

Although the plotline is very important for analyzing the short story the characteristics and purpose are also play a big role. Two characteristics are the main character is powerless and makes the wrong decisions. One decision she should’ve not made was to let them take her to the closet. After reading this story it made our lives not so bad that there is one day of warm weather and we missed it. This is one of the purposes of this story to think our life is bad.

The main character also gives us the symbolism of irony. Margot was worn out, dull, and probably creepy looking. Some other symbolism in the story was that there was storms and thunder. There was also a closet that she was locked in that represents irony. I think that irony is mostly creepy dull places, times, weather, colors, and people.

“All Summer in a Day” has a terrible ending for the little girl. She stood up for herself and then she got locked up on the only day in seven years that there is no rain. She did the right thing to speak up but the wrong thing to not fight when she was going into the closet. That was one of the wrong decisions she made that makes it an irony.

Lil Wayne

You don't know the real Lil' Wayne.

He's hiding from the pain,

Of people following him,

He feels like a Tiny Tim.

Every star is that way,

There social life is fading away.

So ask yourself why

He can't be a normal guy.

Eating a Cupcake

There is three ways to eat a cupcake. You could just eat cupcake with frosting and the cake part together which is I think the second most popular way. People eat it that way because they want the two flavors of the cake and the frosting together. The way that is rarely used is you eat the actual cupcake part then you eat the frosting. I've seen that way attempted once in my life because she wanted to see if it tasted better. Her response was no. One of the most common way that I use to eat a cupcake is to lick the frosting off the cupcake then eat the rest.

Eating cupcakes in a certain way show us what people are like. If you see the most boring person in the world eat a cupcake by licking the frosting off of it in front of people. I don't think so. They would eat it with the whole cupcake. People who eat it all at the same time are usually people wh don't want to have fun, unless they take HUGE bites. The ones who lick the icing of the cupcake are usually normal people that want to joke around, but people who eat the cake part first are usually are weird. Not in a good way.

I'm not an expert on cupcake eating so don't make fun of somebody if they eat it in a different way. They can eat in different ways that make them special.

Run Away

"It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station. He was staring at the busses that would leave soon on the big black board. He was in a rush to get someplace far away. He was in his thirties, shorter than average, brown hair. He had a white T-shirt on with jeans and was carrying a back pack. Next thing he knows he hears sirens of police cars. He started to get sweaty and fidgety. Telling the woman to hurry up and get his tickets. When he was getting the money out of his bag, he accidently dropped it because his hands were shaking so bad. Big wads of cash scattered around his feet.  He tries to stuff every thick , block of money in the bag, but it's too late. Everyone was gasping at their sight of him and the money.

After he packed the bricks of cash he was looking where to run. The back door was wide open. While he was sprinting he was think where to live, hide, sleep, eat. He didn't want to go to his friends place. That would be asking too much. It's like " Hey can I eat your food, sleep in your bed, oh,  and you might go to jail for this.", he was smarter than that, but not smart enough to not rob a bank. Not his parents either, he would the people he loved in a place they shouldn't be. So he planned to go to a Holiday Inn outside of town. Then he needed to make a reservation and make it quick.

Although he's running away from police, people didn't know what he had done so went to a local restaurant with no T.V.s, radios,  or cops. There was a Starbucks just across the street. He was running so hard his lungs felt like they were bruised all over. When he was crossing the street a car was screeching to a stop and  a very small man popped his head out of the car window. " Hey you! How 'bout you make smarter choices will ya!" Now he tells him. The Starbucks was mostly empty. Perfect he thought. The phone had a different tones of beeps when each number got pressed. He pressed the phone to his ear and heard the voice of the  Holiday Inn woman.

" Hi, this is the Holiday Inn. How may I help you."
"Hey, if you have any rooms available?", he said in between his deep breaths.
"Yes we do, how long do you think you're  staying?"
" A while." ,he said in a miserable voice.
" Okay…. What day and time are you coming and how many people are with you?"
" Today at 4:30 and it's just me."
"That's nice. Are you going here for alone time."
"Yes?"
" That's good. What else is good we also have a room open for you."
" Okay, thank you. Bye"

Yes! He runs as fast as he could and every time he saw a police car he went inside a dark ally. He spots the hotel just two blocks away. He sprints as fast as he could and steps into the lobby. His heart drops. The cops are waiting for him. " On the ground!", they kept repeating to him." How'd you find me!", he said with his face to the floor." We looked at your calls in the last 24 hours and saw one in particular that you said where  you're going.". Shout!

I HATE TWIZZLERS

I hate Twizzlers because they have a lot of artificial flavor in it and it taste gross. I also don't like the texture of them because every time I put one in my mouth I chew it like a cow with cud because its consistency is like rubber. If they added more flavor to it would be nice instead of the lack of strawberry taste. Every time I see my dad holding that bright pink bag with the Twizzlers logo attached to it I know what he's going to say. " Don't you want some.". I tell him time and time again that I don't like those red, unflavorful things entering in my mouth. He thinks I not his daughter when I say no to Twizzlers.  Who knew bad candy can bring this to a family.

Ninja Kity Katz

My cat is part of the ninja kat forces. You wish you had my cat. He can catch mice with his ninja cat moves and speed. He also can be the master of hiding behind couches and sometimes in them also. You that ninja cat photo on Google yeah, my cat. No one can do that good of a ninja kick, not even Chuck Norris. Now you're jealous. You'll be sad to know that the ninja cat on You tube was my cat too. Now I have to leave to feed my adorable ninja friend his food, so good-bye.

The Clown

There once was a clown
That had a big frown.
His name was Mr.Brown
He lived in China Town.
One day his spirit was down
Until he he found
something smooth and round.
It was heavy so it took him to the ground.
He was so weak he can't carry 1 pound.
It rolled him around
into a lake and then he drowned.
THE END

Patriotism Still Matters

When you hear "patriotism" what do you think of? When I hear it I think of all the times we respect the flag, how we fold it in a certain way, how we recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning at school. You might have thought of the colors of our flag, Fourth of July, soldiers, even people writing songs about how great America is like the song Chicken Fried by The Zach Brown Band if you want. There are a lot of ways why patriotism matters it's just hard to remind yourself that it still matters.

A way we celebrate patriotism is when we have Fourth of July. Some people have no clue why we celebrate this holiday. They just have a party and go downtown to watch the fireworks. In 1776 on the 4th of July America was born, we weren’t governed by the kings in England anymore. We declared independence of Great Britain and it’s also known as Independence Day.

One symbol commonly seen on Fourth of July is the American flag. The flag represents what our country’s made of. For instance the fifty stars show we have fifty states and the thirteen stripes show the thirteen colonies. There are also the colors of the flag that show who we are. Blue stands for vigilance, perseverance, and justice. White’s for purity and innocence and red is for hardiness and valor.

Although the flag is very important I think the Men and women who were our flag on their uniforms are very important too. They are known as soldiers from the Army, Air force, Coast Guards, Marine Corps, and Navy. They have patriotism for our country and we should be thankful that they do. They fought for the freedom we have today and some died for it, so I think we all should have patriotism for our country like they do. They have bravery and showed everywhere America has bravery too.

Remember the song Chicken Fried I mentioned in the beginning. Well I wanted to share my favorite part of that song.

And for the stars and stripes
May freedom forever fly, let it ring.
Salute the ones who died
And the ones that gave their lives so we don`t have to sacrifice
All the things we love”

This song to me shows that this band has patriotism and we should all have patriotism too.
