Authors Note: In class we had to pick a character from the novel we are reading and I decided to use Prim from the Hunger Games. I might add more t this in the future because there is so much I could do.
She walks into the room. Beautiful blonde hair tries to disguise her tears. She wipes eyes and tries to show no fear just like her sister. Her eyes have dark circles from the sleepless nights since the reaping. Colors are lost in her summer dress that has patches covering rips and tears. She tries to stand tall but there is an awkwardness in here stance. When she finally lifts up her head she looks around, amazed by all the technology and food we have. From lack of food she walks around the room as weak as a new-born baby deer. She recognizes a mural we have above our cabinets, she says her father used to whistle to these birds and respond back with the same tune. I ask her what her name is and she replied Prim.
