It's Not Summer Without You Point of View

In It's Not Summer Without You, is told in the perspective of Belly at the age of 16, most of the time. It switches through different ages of her life in some chapters, so some chapters are not as reliable as others. When she was 10 she kept talking about the bad side of one girl because Conrad was practically drooling over her while Belly is in love with him. She did not talk about the good about the girl. Belly is more reliable in her 14-16 years because people who are older tend to be more believable, that is why I believe that Susannah would have another interesting perspective of the story.
Susannah is Belly's mothers' best friend. She would have a major twist in the story because first of all she has cancer. She would talk about the challenges of it and how her kids would react to the news. Next she would talk about which boy is for Belly. She swore that Belly will marry one of her boys. She would also be more truthful of situations.,

  1. I read this book too! I agree, sometimes Belly isn't very reliable.
